Your prospect for self-employment success will be boosted enormously if you have a flexible personality.  Flexibility is one of my 20 quiz questions.  Your business will be zig zagging all the time.  If you can adapt to the changes, your prospects for success will be allot higher.  For example, at one point of running my business, I was hit with a large print bill that the client ended up not paying. He declared bankruptcy just like our president often does. I had to move from my home into a condo that I bought for my home office.
